Trump isn't predicting public unrest - he's advocating for it with a barely-disguised dog whistle.

Just like he unsuccessfully called for mass protests (and falsely claimed there were!) for his initial arrest/bookings, arraignments, and the start of the trial, this time around, any protest would also very likely be tepid.

Regardless, I'm confident Merchan will impose a sentence based on what Trump deserves, not how loud any mob of supporters may be.
