I am truly becoming too cynical. When I saw the headline that a SC judge extended the voter registration by 10 days due to Hurricane Helene devastation, I fully expected to read that the GOP opposed this move. After all, the party has about a 100% track record of fighting to make voting harder, purge legitimate voters from the rolls, etc.

Instead, the GOP was silent - not exactly standing up for voting rights, but they are not on record as opposing this either.
